heck IM looking into a bbs 18 aluminum racing rim thats eve lighter then the Kenesis... thats a no brainer...
It comes down to how u want to use the car... I have 19s and 18s...
one thing we're forgetting is tire weight. I found some 19's tires that are 35 lbs! You buy a 23-24 pound rim then the tire is 10 pounds heavier than similar sized one in 18.

I decided to go 18's for this reason, there are 18's tires that are around 23-24 pounds and get a rim that is 21-22 pounds you're still under 50 pounds, vs the 19's which getting under 50 pounds total per wheel is nearly impossible.

I'll get a direct comparison weight on my rears in a few days when I pull them off. Stock hollow 18 Turbo Twists with worn Pirellis vs 19x12 Volk TE37's with new PS2's. The Volks certainly feel light even with the bigger rubber!

Under 50 pounds you are right, difficult, my rears with brand new rubber (PS2 315x25/19) on the 12" Volk rears, 50 pounds exactly! Not too shabby! I also weighed the hollow turbo twist 18x11 rear, 27 pounds un-shod, 50 pounds with worn Pirelli stock size rubber. Well done Rays Wheels!!
