Are you sure you will feel a difference if you switch to a lighter wheel? Keep the Ruf's!

I tracked the car at Fontana (only for about a half day) and I did feel abit of sluggishness. I've got a heavily modified Audi S4 that I use to run a forged 20" wheel on untill I switched to a magnesium 18" wheel. This swap probably saved me 10lbs a corner but the difference was amazing! I guess I'm trying to figure out whether I can achieve the same kind of feeling from a lighter wheel on the Ruf.

I think you can easily. The question is are you going to track the car often enough to see it? But if the answer to that is yes, then go for it, I think they're saying the Kinesis wheels in 18's are about 18lbs which is very light. The Dymag's are 14lbs which is ridiculously light, but the performance comes at a price. Very good looking wheels though. Here's the pix of two seperate styles that Rennworx GT3 Posted. In that Dymag thread, he also posted a very interesting document about them on page 2

The Ruf wheels look good. If you are going to track the car, those Dymags are awesome.

Congrats and welcome too the wonderful world of RUF!!!!!!!!! I was contemplating with the Ruf wheels myself and I did not get them for my Rturbo. If I wanted a third set, I would get them. My car is Red with Black so I wanted a wheel that had a polished lip with black center. I went with Iforged and I love them. Your car has the Ruf body kit which mine doesn's so you might be better off staying with the Ruf wheels to keep it all together. Ultimately it is your choice and if you like different wheels then get them. I hope you enjoy your Rturbo as much as I do and best of luck with it. Is it a 550?

I've actually considered a set of the Dymags myself. If you're looking to save weight, you might as well go all the way. What do you think of the two styles?
