Hard drive video camera

Guys im in the market to buy a vid camera, and was keen on the hard drive units currently on the market. Has anyone used one for incar footage. Reason for concern is i've read that at 3G the camera shuts down to protect the hard drive recording mechanism (or something along those lines). Which isnt to flash if your doing some incar track recording etc.

Anyone using one without hassles?

After seeing the quality of the hard drive camera its hard to pass up!

thanks

the easy answer is to go buy the JVC 30 gig one at Costco, up to 7 hours at regular and 3 hours at "Ultrafine"........if it doesn't work perfectly, take it back and get your money back. No problem.
