Just repeating what the Lambo owner told me. His is an '04

In response to the OP's original question. I say join them. We have Lambos and Porsches in our club and we all have a great time together. You should see how people stare when 30 exotics go rolling down the street together

Get with them and go stomp the rice and domestics

Now to elaberate more on that particular discussion we had that day Joe: I said I didnt want to launch the car becuase of the clutch! The dealer said that if I wanted to maintain my clucth life, dont launh the car hard off of the line, the car is not meant for Drag Racing. I dont feel like sinking 6-10K into a clutch to see if I can race another car from stop light to stop light! It was just a personal preference thing!

I am here at the office all day. I have the Range Rover today, its getting detailed downstairs. Call me if you are around. I will drive the Lambo tomorrow for sure.

When do you get the new car? The Transporter picked up my Porsche last night and will have it in Georgia for the new owner by Friday night. It was sad to see her go!

This is truly my only reservation of the Gallardo. I love power and torque and having impromptu races. I don't want to have to baby the Gallardo in fear of burning up the clutch or backing down knowing there are a lot of faster cars running around.

This is such a difficult decision for me. Obscene Power vs Stunning Looks???

No matter what you buy, there will always be someone faster.

I look at Porsche owners differently in that they desire to be noticed but enjoy the reliability, power, and prestige that the Porsche badge brings.

Up until Audi took over Lamborghini, I always considered them to be a maintenance nightmare. Sure Porsche had its recalls but never did it have the stigma of having to replace a clutch every 2k miles.

Just my opinion.
