Tip and ideal wheel sizes

Thanks DJ for the great article "Clash Of The Titans". I know it's not new, but very interesting reading.

As a Tip owner, I was interested in Alex's choice of wheel sizes: F 265/35/18 & R 315/30/18. This increases rolling diameter by 2.75 on the front and 4 on rear compared to stock.

I was wondering if anyone else has this combination.
Wouldn't increasing the rolling diameter detract from 0-100 and 1/4 time ? Am I missing something?

Also anyone else using the Imagine auto torque converter.
Does it help with improving launch? Any issues?
