W8MM is Mike Valentine's ham radio " handle ". Gee Mike, I thought only guys that are 120 years old by now would have call letters that " low" , like W1AW How did you get that ?

Forget the group buy section, I don't even know where the M5 board is...LOL. P.S. I know I can get a bunch of guys on my watch forum interested in a group buy on V1's too. Many of them have Porsche's and other fast cars.

m5board.com and do a seach for lidatek , you need both a radar detector and a laser jammer for full protection

With all due respect, I don't want to get involved in a large group to save $50. I'd rather buy the Lidatek on my own when it's available.

The V1 is also something I need and I feel more comfortable entering into a buy with a group I somewhat know (6speed).

While I highly doubt a discount group buy will be offered...if there is strength in numbers, I'm in for a second V1 so that I can permanently install one in my GT3....

If he's interested, aside from this board, I know I can get 5 friends in too. If not, I'll just get one for me.

guys,
although i like the idea of group buy, but last group buy i did with Mansour turned out to be nothing. only Mansour stick with me to the end i guess. some guys here said they want this & that & turn out not even reply my mail (still not sure if they want it or not )

especially in this forum, we all drive a 100K+ car. is that really worth to save 50 buck just for the time & hassle doing the GB. when i wanted my V1, i even over night fedex it for extra 30 bucks...

just wondering what makes u guys feel better? is the money, or the feeling??

LOL, it's a good point. I guess it's the feeling. If you think about it I could care less about 50 or 100 dollars...LOL. It doesn't seem like Mike would entertain the idea anyways so I guess I'll go on his site and order...
