I still love that GT2 front end and even though it takes some work (bloody coolant!) to get it to function the same on a TT, it's worth it. This GT700 is a bit unusual because it was originally an aerokit car. The nose clip was broken so rather than replace that we went with the GT2 nose for some added downforce (60 pounds heh).

Isnt that just the C4S lip...My father's aerokitted 996tt has a color matched front lip.

 

Nope that's the stock turbo frotn lip unpainted, the aero kit lip is a different add on and flares out to a point! C4S has a gap in the middle of the bumper where it peaks on the stock turbo!

 

It did have the aerokit front lip but that got busted and a stock turbo one was put on... Not to worry, it's all GT2-d now!

Maxwell- it's OEM and the full GT2 conversion was done so that the radiator angle/position has been changed to allow for proper airflow though the vents a la GT2

I think so yes. Otherwise what happens if you simply slap on a GT2 bumper is that you prevent the air from being able to flow/escape on the backside of the center radiator. You essentially seal it off and hence it's not going to work too well.

There are other problems too. Like the side ones do not have the correct ducting and proper airflow either...
