The headers are the same for the 640 and 700 as well as the turbos.

does anyone have a recent gt640 dyno they can share? i believe the one on evo's website is out of date, as it has been there for years and the curve looks like stage 4 only peakier (unless i am reading it wrong).

i have not seen any direct comparisons, but it is my understanding that evo stage 4 and ruf 550 are very evenly matched. there is interesting information in the chart here:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...6&postcount=21

i am hoping more people start posting ax22 data

The GT700 is very tame and can be driven daily. That is the way I would go if you have a need for speed.

RUF 550 makes about 600 hp and the 590 aroun 650 hp.

That chart doesn't make any sense to me. Unless I am reading it wrong, it has time in seconds at the bottom and speed in mph to the left. Those numbers can't be right. They have a stock tt running 0 to 100 mph in about 6 seconds and the EVO 750 running 0 to 120 in 6 seconds. I don't think so bro. F-1 cars would have trouble keeping up with that EVO 750.

Here is a chart from a customers car we ran. This was the 5th run and it was heat soaked from hell. Should give you a good idea on what the charts look like.

Buddy, can you please share the source of information. This must be based on poorly run chassis dyno readings. Both those cars run at those "true" HP levels. I hope I will not be called a RUF hater.

These charts show a 60-130mph run 9eleven, the beginning is not 0mph, it is 60mph..

Got it. OK my bad, that makes a HELL of a difference. 60 to 130 in 7 seconds? Pretty impressive.

My evolution stage 4 is fantastic in my 996 Turbo S cab. With a Cross full suspension upgrade the car handles and reacts better than any car I have driven. (including The Carrera GT) The added horsepower makes no sense in a car that really is not set up to handle it. Most of the gt700's out there don't have the suspension, clutch and brakes capable of handling the power and these guys have wasted there money. Ask yourself where you will actually use the power and than consider the added costs.

Welcome to Seattle. We have many modded 996tt in most our local 6speed get together. I say go for the GT700 and never look back.
