I got a flat on the freeway last week. I'm running some
serious camber (2.5), and the far inner edge of the
rear tires went to cord without me knowing it was that close.
The good thing is that these tires extend beyond the rim
edges, and seem to be designed to cushion the wheel rim
when deflated, so the roll to the turn-out area didn't harm
the rims at all. I've just mounted some Kumho tires to try,
but it's apparent that I'd be immediately on the rims if one of
these went flat, so I'll have to watch things better...

Joe, just a question, 2.5degrees, that's big. You sure you know what you are doing? Are you big time lowered and trying to correct some geometry problem?

 

What size Kuhmos are you using?
