the downdraft produced by that wing causes the car to scrape on the road at speeds exceeding 35mph. It is fitted with a titanium scrape plate covering the entire bottom of the chassis, which is coated in a special silicon polymer to prevent overheating.
If you consider the angle of the inclines while accelerating at high speeds, it produces extreme down forces on the rear of the car. Don't forget, Porsche cars are designed like an airplane wing and have smooth covered undersides that allows better drag coefficient. If you also notice, all modern 911s have spoilers that are designed to "spoil" the lift created by the air being rushed under and over the car. Like on an airplane, you need that lift over and under the wings to fly and in a Porsche you don't want that lift while driving at high speeds.
