Question Questions about 2001's with bumperettes

I am currently looking into buying a base 01 car (I have decided to mod myself), and I have seen a few with the bumperettes. My question is, are there any reasons to avoid these? I know they were the first ones, and were like that for US standards and stuff, but I am wondering if there are any differences besides the bumpers, and solid wheels. I am planning on a techart front, and HRE wheels anyway so if those are the only differences I am not concerned.
Thanks for the help,
Evan

Im not sure what the car is worth....and neither does he. I think he's going to go to the dealer and see what they tell him. I'm sure they'll low ball him, so that could be good. He's got a lot of cash, and will just want to get rid of it without having to deal with a bunch of knuckleheads test driving his car.
