How to clean intercooler ducts?

Hey guys,

How do you get into the intercooler ducts to clean out any leaves and stuff that might find their way in there?

Thanks,
KJ

if u really want to do a good job.. take off the bumper and then the ICs... ull see how dirty they get... probably getting some pressure hose on them will help...
the real problem with leaves is in ut front bumper... I have a techart and I find a bunch of leaves all the time... that where u should be looking first.

Agreed, i get all kind of debris in my front ducts and openings, i couldnt imagine anything getting stuck in the intercooler opening in the rear bumper! Everytime i looked, the rear intercoolers look new, not dirty at all

You can reach in the intercooler intake and feel for debris. You can also look up through the exit vents and blow compressed air up through the intercoolers. If I remember correctly the intercoolers fins were easy to bend. I had MUCH more debris in the front radiators than the intercoolers.
