i saw one today on Sunset Blvd. I don't know what the story with the car was but there was an attractive blond woman driving it. The car was a metallic copper/orange. It looked pretty good although i wish it deviated a little more from the C5

The Corvette , like the 911, is pretty much " locked in " to a certain iconic shape that can only be slightly evolved per generation or it's loyal owner bases would have fits. Like the 997 and it's 993-like round headlights and hipped rear fenders , C6 intenders are excited that some retro cues were used. The C6 is not a new Corvette. It is an update of the C5, despite 85 % new parts. Similar to what the 997 will be relative to the 996.
The C7 and 998 will be the true " new " ones in their long histories.

Billy, Billy, Billy-baroo, what's with this crazy talk? You are bailing on your Turbo for American muscle? I might do it with the Ford GT, but you? I thought you were a Porsche guy through & through? I will say that the performance/price ratio is mighty attractive and am particularly intrigued by the rumored "Blue Devil". I kinda like the idea of going from Red Devil to Blue Devil. If we don't get snowed in, I'll give you a first hand report of seeing it in detroit.
