6speedonline's official 60-130, 1/4 Mile, and Standing Mile list
Mike - ya, 300 lbs lighter would be pretty insane. I'll let you know when I head to MIR. E-town is too much of a haul for me.
Thanks!
Thanks, FlyingGuy.
Thanks, bro. I plan on getting a vid of my car on either 93 or 100 octane against my buddy's stock 997 GT2 RS for a comparison vid. Should also have a vid against Peter's 900 rwhp Protomotive 996T, as well as a 1,000 rwhp TT Cobra.
Not sure when I'll get a vid of the car on full-boost (Q16), though. Probably in TX next year.
Thanks!

So, as I was about to post...round and round we go...AMS just took back the 60-130 record with a 3.31 run that they had in their Vbox files that hadn't been checked yet.
I see 3.2X coming soon...from someone.

my bad.. I figured they knew how to read the files and it was at the track so elevation was the same as before.. I will wait next time for your confirmation

and i think the next step is 3.2x !!

It is but you're doing launches basically to spin the tires. You'll clean them off and put a little heat into them but nothing like doing a true burnout. Also it's hard on the drivetrain.
The center differential on the R35 GTR can't be disconnected, it's a clutch style diff. It's modulated by the ECU but even at full disengagement it still has some lockup due to the preload. So you could electrically disable the system and get almost all your power to the rear tires but you would certainly but a lot of strain and heat on the center diff trying to do a RWD burnout, possibly warping the discs and locking the diff.

If only there were a way. Because your not getting the full use of a DR if you don't warm them up. If possible you would probably see high 1.3 60' times.
this thread is nuts. The standard for an 'interesting' post is up in the stratosphere.
The Russian dude Tra1nEr posts a 10.6 @ 130mph quarter mile time and doesn't even get a sniff of attention lol
Congrats to Tra1nEr and of course the 3 second 60-130 GTRs. Truly staggering.
