Last time mine blew I told the tech to put in a boxster one since that is what others were doing. He went to put it in and told me that the connection was not exactly the same so he used the same one that was in before. I was not there to see.

Is this the case? I thought I read where many people were using the Boxster MAF's...

Had my car with a V-flow intake for about 2k+ miles and no problems yet (running stage 2).

Some have been using the 986 MAF. Your guy might have tried to use the 987 MAF (?) You should really find out if the 986 MAF is applicable to your situation. It's definately not always a good idea.

Wooly, I wish I could. I'm not sure of it's appropriate utilization. ie. With V-Flow or without. All I know for sure, from what I was told, that it's not for all situations. Todd Z. is the man to give you the news on using the 986 MAF.

I think you have to change the ECU program to run the boxter MAF.
