New GT2 CF Wing

Looks like gert finally got the GT2 wing in CF, and it looks amazing. A great add for any GT2 owner.

Price : 990 Euro Dollar Conversion
"Replaces the standard wing element.
Will fit any '02-'03 GT2.
Factory part.

Also available for the GT2 :
Wonder if he meant GT3...Would be nice...990 vs 4200 for GT3 RS CF setup

If you look at the curve on the side of the peice, you can tell that it is for the GT2, and it is only a top replacement, you will need to have the base GT2 wing part also.

4200 for the RS CF... dang, thats a lot of money, where would you get that from, gert?

Yes, from Gert. I am thinking that the wing supports on a GT2 may be in a similar position as the GT3 wing supports. If you look at the site, he says fits '02-'03 GT2's...It then goes on to say..."Also available for GT2" looks like a typo, since he said it fit GT2's in the prior statement...Do you see what I mean???

I sent him an email to get to the bottom of this. Perhaps there are wing blanks and the holes are also offered in the GT3 position if they are different from the GT2 hole position. I think that wing would look good on a narrow body....

Oh yeah, you're right, I did not notice that...

That RS rear would look awsome on your car.

It would, however...I am having issues stomaching that pricing...It does include the RS airbox(apparently different) and the deck lid air dam, but still priced in the stratosphere, imo. The Europipe video on their site is a GT3 with the GT2 deck lid and wing...Looks pretty good...

Anyone know what the weight difference between the standard GT2 and the carbon fiber GT2 wing is?

It seems like they should have built the entire wing in CF. Including the boot.

Why on earth would you put that on a stock car

PS Chad you can check out my wing anytime sine I have the CF.. It's very light. You can compare it to yours.

I have the 04 GT2 carbon wing element and it is significantly lighter than the stock part. Unfortunately I did not have a scale to measure the difference when I did the swap. I will also be installing the carbon front diffuser.

For 4200 bucks, I hope that it adds at least 50HP!
