I'm anxious to try the Pony Express ride/road race and the Tracquest events like Buttonwillow and Willow Springs - any experience or stories from the board?

 

I've done Laguna Seca (Mazda) with TracQuest. They put on a A+ event. The instructors were all hot shoes with lots of experience. They bring you up to speed before they turn you loose. I highly recommend them. I think I paid $450.

On the other hand, next Wed, OTR (Open Track Racing) is holding an event at Willow Springs which is only $150. This is my first event there so I don't know how good they are.

 

the openroadracing.com events are fun with the best in race and safety management. not too late to come to the Pony 130 this year 6/22-24.

ruf racer, jakemate, myself and 8-10 other porsches will be competing

 

I've done a dozen days with Tracquest. Awesome events. I've also been to BW with them. Someday I'd like to make it out to Willow Springs. Todd runs a great, safe event with super instructors. I highly recommend them.
