TT MAF sensor part number

Does anyone have a part number for a non Porsche MAF sensor for the TT? I don't fancy paying Porsches over inflated price for a part that is made by someone else that has a Porsche part number stamped on it.

Is the TT MAF sensor the same as fitted to the N?A 996 models or is it TT specific?

David.

I have seent this work on other car makes. Don't know if it's possible for the 911. If you pull apart the one you have, there may be a part number on the Bosch part and then you can buy the Bosch part and transplant it into the Porsche housing.

Big Little secret!

In Uk we can purchase these for a 1/3 of the Porsche cost.

What Porsche do, is purchase the part from Bosch, pop it into some nice packaging and charge the customer on with a nice mark up!

You can buy them direct from Bosch (certainly in UK) I have done it!
