What Bar Should I Be Seeing In 4th Gear With K24's & Giac Stg 3/4 Tuning?

Stevie, As Soon As I Get Off My Lasy Ass & Figure Out How Too Post Pictures I Will. To Get An Idea Of My Car It Looks Alot Like A Gt2. I Have The Gts Spoiler,rooke 18" Wheels,front Spoiler Painted Color Of Car (artic Silver),hre Springs .inside I Have The Carbon Fiber Option. The Interior Color Is The Light Gray. Damm It Might Just Be Easer To Learn How To Post Pictures.

Kevin (KPG) posted that at 70mph in 4th gear he floored the gas and got 1.2 bar in 3 seconds. I tried the same thing and had the same results. We both have K16/24 hybrids, but different tuners. It would be interesting to see what result you get with this test - however, I don't think it really means anything other than your turbos are able to produce full boost quickly.

Did you see big difference with the K24s?

Actually John, it was 1.1 bar in 1 second. The video on youtube doesnt show the timer, but it is a 2 sec video and the 1.1 is there halfway thru. If you like I can email the source video with the timer and frame by frame analysis. Kevin

I Did The 70mph Mash Test And I Also Get 1.2 Bar Within 3 Sec. My Set-up Includes Stock K24's, Evo Wastgates,giac Stg 3/4 Tuning, Fabspeed Exst,dv's,evo Intake Box.

Sorry for the confusion. When I floored the gas in 4th at 70, I hit 1.2 bar in the time I could say "1/1000"...about 1 second, also. I repeated it several times to be sure. Knowing that you and I both spool to full boost almost instantly at 70 in 4th, I think it would be reasonable to assume Paulie should see full boost rather quickly under the same circumstances. If he does not have K16/24, but full K24's, it may take him slightly longer...but I think he should be seeing 1.2 bar as long as his GIAC software is designed to boost that high (I believe it is).

Unless you have programming to bypass the TB shutdown at 1.3 bars, that isnt likely. Stock Giac Stage4 will not allow 1.4. What is your trick. Kevin

K24s can not sustain 1.4 bar. They hardly will hold 1.2 for any length of time.
