Talking first stage upgrades done...

Got some projects done last night, the B&M SSK, EVO Shiftlink, CF shifter, and CF handbrake. It took me 5 hours to complete it, but I worked one step at a time with several long TV breaks. Surely had I worked solid it would have taken half the time.

Installation of the SSK and the shiftlink could not have gone smoother. I followed the directions (and remembered to mark the cables) and everything lined up correctly the first time... the N position rests right between the 3rd & 4th gate. I have never shifted a B&M, while notchy it certainly feels direct and the throws very short..

Those with GT3 seats... life is a lot easier when the passenger seat is removed. The only problem is that I started the car while taken apart to test the action of the shifter.... bingo, airbag light. Hopefully the dealer can get me in for a quick reset of the light. Anybody know of a way to reset the light on their own?

nope... it's impossible to set the airbag unit off on ur own...
you have to have a porsche computer to do so...
to erase the fault memory...
it's a quick and easy job...
