The Big Blue waffle weaves are really great, I've used them for a while, now. The waffle weaves from www.autofiber.com are nice, too. They're grey in color, thinner in weight than the Big Blues, but are much softer. The big blues don't scratch, though (my car's black, no problems). For those who buy them, definitely wash them before their first use, otherwise they'll streak (also, don't use bleach, liquid softener/softening sheets or high dryer heat on any polyester microfiber). Best things about waffle weaves: no streaking, no toweling marks (kinda look like swirls in the finish) and they don't grab the surface. My $.02.

I use the absorber and love it. I use the CA water blade on the windows ONLY. For other drying needs where the area may not be perfectly clean (like door jamb, inside trunk lid), I'll use microfiber from Griots.

yea, I use to use it when my car was black, wasn't a smart idea on cheap acura black paint, lots of scratches. I use it on my girls silver car w/o a worry though
