How many miles will you drive your Turbo before selling?

I bought a near new 01 996TT with 4500 miles 7 weeks ago, and have been having a blast with already 3000 miles driven. At this rate, it will be a 40K mile car in two years, 58K miles in 3. What is everyone's opinion on mileage - I know the car would probably go 200K, but market is very hard on high mileage TT's.

One philosophy is that the car depreciates mostly as a result of age, and the difference between high and low mileage cars will be only 10-15K 3 years from now, so drive at will and enjoy. I have 3M paint protection everywhere so, it would be a (relatively) chip free and immaculate 58K mile TT with full documented service history and (hopefully) no paint work when time to sell.

What is the "sweet spot" in terms of best time (mileage) to sell before I would have to take a major disproportionate hit? There is an interesting market niche where someone will tolerate the high miles just to get into this type of car if budget is tight (esp first year of new type cars)

I have 3 years or 80k miles left on my warranty and I plan on driving the car as much as I can while under warranty. Paid enough for the car and have had enough cars to know that I'll never turn a profit on a car. So I just drive, drive, and drive. I love the car and for the first time in a long time I have no interest in getting another car. enjoy!!
