Battery Maintainer Question

I have a 01 Turbo and the Porsche battery maintainer. The car had some trouble starting today so I started looking for causes. It appears that the battery maintainer comes unplugged from the cigarette lighter. The “nose” of the maintainer has a spring load and slowly pushes the plug out far enough that the red light goes out on the charger.

Does anyone have a solution to this? If not, I’ll go buy another one…

Thanks

Roy

Westwood is infamous around these parts
Roy, Check to make sure the side pieces on the plug in are pulled out all the way, otherwise you can use a piece of emery cloth on the side friction pieces to rough them up so they grab the inside of the lighter plug better.
