Talking x-73 suspension installed

Guys this is a great setup for those who don't need adjustability. I can't be happier with the ride since my recent install, I had to keep driving. For those of you who have bragged about your PSS9's I can't imagine how they could provide any better setup for the street and occasional track driver. Firm but not harsh, incredible feel, like the car lost 500lbs(I know a dream). If you want something with easy install, yet great performance, this is the ticket. Fish

Fish, Glad to see you went with the X73, you will be very happy with it, IMO this is the best setup by far for the street/track driver, you will settle to .5 inch higher than GT2 spec, post some pics of your car with it.

Is that 20MM from US specs... Or Euro Spec... If US that is not as much as I thought.

This is from Carnewal's site...

P96 X73 Lowered Sport Suspension
Factory X73 retrofit that lowers the Euro P96 Turbo and P96 C4 Turbo Look 20 mm all around.

Can you give me an idea of how much more firm the ride is versus stock?

Gary, the lowering appears to measure out at about 1" from us specs. I know of a thread awhile ago that provided exact measurements. I have not had any problems with being to low.

Dock the firmness is tough to quantify. The car does not ride firm where you feel every bump but just handles every bump with no feeling of losing any contact with the road. There are no extra bounces and the feedback is immediate and stable. The roll and sway are dramatically reduced giving the car much more of a feeling of being "on rails" without any loss of comfort. This is definitely the suspension the car should have standard except for big brothers bumper height restriction. If there is a better fit for a suspension then it would be something truly special. My tech who put on the suspension is an old porsche racer and wasn't a big fan of the american turbo because of the suspension. When he threw me the keys, he just smiled and said, "now thats a car you'll really enjoy." So far he's right! Fish

carnewal! I also found the ride height post, my car sits exactly the same as Jas, 25.75" front , 25.625 rear, floor to wheel well.

Purchased from Gert at Carnewal as well and great service, 3 days from order and the suspension was sitting at our dealership.

Did the dealer have the alignment settings, or did they come with the kit?

Jasclass and Fish

The X73 kit says there are special motor mounts included. Why are they needed with X73 installed?

If I install X73 with aerokit on my car, will the front scrape?

You can scrape at the stock height depending on where you drive.
