Paypal is completely messed up.

They recently froze my account because they think I may be on the Bank of England's terrorist watch list.

They want me to sent a certified copy of my birth certificate, my passport and my drivers license to them to prove I'm not a terrorist.

I told them I'll never do business with them again and to go pound sand.

Unbelieveable how flakey they are.

 

too bad such discomfort arises when someone else messes up.. I talked to steve harris a few times b4 and he seems like a stand up guy. I also noticed online that KiKO is a good guy as well.... I think this has been a HUGE misunderstanding...

 

Wow. That info sounds like what scammers or terrorists would love to get their hands on. I'm sure you are certain the demand is from paypal and not someone else claiming to be paypal

 

ive heard there are scamemrs pretending to be part of paypal to need your info like ss etc. and then using that info for identity theft.. peopl have told em to never trust the emails comingform paypal bec some of them are fake and look liek the real thing.. never click ona link form an email from paypal instaed.. g to to the website your self and type in the web adress to insure that you are int he real paypal website...

 

and they are so nice on the phone, the wait is about 45 min and then they hang up on you, very nice..... not to mention they have no idea what they are telling you and do not care.... seems that kiko is real and they told me to delete his email and clean my computer off line which i did. sent them a spoof report which they asked for and they have yet to return my calls or e mail.... real fun people....

 

Your right, and that's a huge thing going around now too! Although paypal did get pretty strict, if my account times out while im logged in, i have to go through a whole verification process

Yes, I'm sure it is PayPal because they froze my account!
I haven't heard of any other entity being able to freeze a Paypal account

 

Damn. From your experience, it sure sounds like Paypal deserves the bad press it gets.
