New car opinions, 996tt to AWD sedan?
New car opinions, 996tt to AWD sedan?
It's time to buy a new car that can be driven all seasons and carry our family of four. When we bought the 996tt, I told my wife that it has AWD and two rear seats -- just like an SUV (especially with the stock ride height!
). We already have a family SUV, and are looking for a fairly fun car.
I was thinking Audi S4 cabriolet as the only true 4 seat AWD convertible, but it seems a bit heavy and underpowered for its weight. Has anybody driven it who can comment on its peformance? Any other recommendations?

My mom drives an 06 S4 cab every day, I love driving this car as all my cars are coupes. for a cab it has great handling. Also has a good exhaust tone but not too loud. All around a great car and have had not problems what so ever with it. I recomend this car highly for an all season cabriolet
I would look at the Subaru WRX STi. With little modification you can have a 12 second, 1/4 mile car with 4 doors and a trunk. It's very sporty right out of the box, but if you're inclined there are tons of mods for it (turbos, exhaust, injectors, suspension, wheels, etc.). I have been told they are a blast to drive.
