JIC 7/10 kg kit. It's perfect.

PSS9s are good if you are not lowering the car much. They have limited travel if you lower (especially with 2.5 people on board).

Scott, that is the set up I am considering but also looking at the motons, did you consider moton and why did you go with the JIC if you dont mind me asking. However my car will be 90% track use.
thanks
tom

Tom,

I did consider Motons, but I chose JIC because my car is primarily a street car. Since you're car is 90% track car, I would say pay the extra for the Motons.

Thats what I said, best compromise for the street and track, nothing beats OEM in this case. Porsche spend hundreds of hours testing the right setting for a ultra sport suspension and this is the result.

I drove a car with the X73 package and was extremely dissapointed. I don't feel it comes close to the JIC setup in any way whatsoever.

thanks Scott, I agree with both of your above points. I dont think the X73 is close to JIC but for what Ape asked for it is a good option.

Thanks guys- I'm leaning towards the Cross as it seems to offer a bit more that the PS9. Now I gotta find a couple of you Seattle 6-Speeders and buy you a beer for a ride in the car so I can experience the diff between the systems 1st hand.
So please- PM if if I can take 20 minutes of your time and go for a ride. I'm looking for someone with PS9s as I'm hoping Jag will be able to hook me up with the Cross experience
Thanks guys!

I also had Alex at MAXRPM do JIC Cross and I love it. My wife doesn't notice the difference and the handling is amazing. Big improvement over stock. Call him 360-340-1581. He's a good guy. You can drive my car as well.

I'm happy with the JIC's with medium springs & GT3 sbars. I like a firm ride. The wife and kid comment you made in your 1st post throws me off. My 2 year old loves nothing more than to "vroom in Daddy's sports car". No complaints from the wife, suspension wise anyways. If your looking to keep her from getting behind the wheel, put in a sport clutch and light weight fly wheel

All I can say is that when I returned my car to stock( to trade it in), removing the X73, my car ran a full 10 seconds slower lap time at Watkins Glen, 2:27 vs 2:38. I think the X73 is easily on par with the JIC setup on a long road course like the glen, but if you want a somewhat softer suspension to keep 'everybody happy' get the pss9.
