94 3.6, 993TT (Forget about the F355 TT idea, the 993 TT with some mods will be faster and more reliable) 930's came back as US cars in 86, as far as value retention is concerned, I would not buy an older gray market car (80-85). You could do a 78 or a 79 though. These cars can be made into monsters as well. As fas as the slant nose option, if you are planning on doing some mods to it, I would stay away from a factory 930S. You will pay a premium over converted car and again, you will take a hit when selling it modded. If buying a converted car, obviously make sure that it is a steel conversion done with factory parts. From a former 850i owner, DO NOT buy that car, mine was at 160k miles and still going strong but the second that you start to modify them they die a horrible expensive death. That is all .

 

They were horrible with communication and never got back to me, i also think it had fender/paintwork and was in a little accident!

 

993TT is a true classic. You buy a 993TT, lease a 997TT.
