amazing. many folks bash those with enzo's (orders for CGTs), etc who don't track them but when they do and a not unexpected result of doing so occurs now they are stupid. any F1 drivers ever crash? do they lack driving talent? are they stupid?
I don't know the details, so perhaps my generalization was a bit far reaching??? If he was on the track and learning track driving for the first time with an Enzo and wipes it, my characterization of stupid still holds!!!

He should be learning in something else...not a million dollar car!

and if (s)he was off the track and some dumbarse on a cell phone in their SUV ran a light?

there are many many explainations for what might have happened to that car - many of which don't revolve around "stupidity" or "lack of driver talent".

If I buy this than maybe I will have the tools to put it back together in my spare time. Nothing a little duct tape and a few red burreto wrapers couldn't fix.

Painful to see it wrecked but to each his own. If the owner had the money, then it's no skin off our noses. I do agree, however, that some inexperienced drivers should not be allowed to drive such experience-demanding cars.

For example, this kid I know learned how to drive a manual transmission in an E46 M3. Those of you whom have driven one know that they are very tempermental and require constant direct input from the driver. Needless to say he wrecked it driving drunk shortly thereafter.

The rumor I've heard is the owner's son crashed the car while driving it in the rain. Not sure if it's true, but it makes sense.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High - great movie! Maybe the kid who took his dad's Enzo out for a joyride can blame the other team too?

Here's one from Ferris Bueller's Day Off: "Cameron, you killed the Ferrari" or something like that!
