Can't stand brake dust from stock pads!

I hate wiping down the wheels after every long drive. Too much brake dust emitted from the stock pads! My previous car, C32, had the same problem until I switched to some Akebono pads from tirerack. No drop in braking power and NO dust!!! I checked Akebono's site and they are part # for the 996 turbo, but they haven't offically released them yet.

Does anyone have a suggestion for brake pads that dont emit sooo much dust and don't squeal. I thought about going for the Mintex red, but Ive read they squeal like a pig.

Maybe we can get some sponsors to push some brake manufactureres to produce something for the 996 turbo?

try beveling the edges of the pads. should help eliminate the squeel unless the rotors have been glazed over.

L Gancho is infamous around these parts
I'm considering the EBC Yellowstuff pads. Don't have any experience with them on a TT. They are GREAT on my younger brothers WRX. Perhaps someone can tell us about them for agressive street use. I recall a great thread about the EBC pads some time ago, but I cannot find it with the search function.

does anyone have any thoughts on EBC redstuff brake pads? they make it for the 996 turbo. Less dust and good performance. I dont track my car, and so I dont need race brake pads, but I dont want to compromise my brakes either.
