Exhaust Crossover Pipe

still somewhat bemused why my Techart exhaust (made by Supersprint) which I like does not have a crossoverpipe between the cans when most other systems do, what is the technical advantage of letting the exhaust gases pass between the exhaust cans ?

Richard,
A connected cross over pipe is supposed to provide additional torque in the lower rev band.

I love my Techart. Having the separate cans sure makes installation a lot easier. I didn't notice any loss of torque.

I love my Techart too but wonder wether I should wip it off and get a cross over pipe welded in between the cans, I can see it will certainly equalise back pressure but then again the 997S has separate exhaust cans whilst the boxster doesn't
