Import costs and changes..?

So like my previous post suggests, considering moving to germany..

When comparing sale prices of 996 TT here to there, they are wayy cheaper to buy here.. So im wondering what all would it cost or be involved in bringing a US car to Germany.. I know the 996 is already even more beefed up for enivornmental US standards, so i dont see that there would be much necessary change involved?

Any suggestions??

I know this forum hates the word cheaper costs lol.. but any suggestions would help..

You are probably looking at shipping and sales tax. Shouldn't be any duty since Germany is the country of origin. Call the German consulate for more information on the process. Here's a site that details importing a car to Germany from Canada:
