Tuner packages!!!
I was just curious, to all the tuners! how do you market a package (ex: stage 5), if all cars are different? Even from factory they all different! Isn't the best way is to put everthing together & get a custom tune? A package that was developed lets say in Arizona, Would the AFR be the same for a differnt car in another state? or Are these tunes per say, safe bcause of our Knock sensors? I always thought a car well tuned,1- was data logged 2-tuned on the street then, dynoed just to get the final number

your REVO custom tune is about how others do it also. the initial program then the fine tune with live lap top data aquisitions and or dyno runs.
Each starts out with basic files and then the upper level programs and programers have the ability to fine tune air fuel ratios, boost, timing ectera, to optimize the various curves.

thanks, our revo programs are adjusted to our cars, but these packages
& stages that are sold just with a flash & your done

Well its based on all engines turbo and various bolt on options are relatively the same. So for joe blow this would work at least ok.
The high end tuners in which you develop a repore with are able to link up to the ECU data and read many parameters none the less are the various air fuel mixtures, boost pressures, timing etc. They can then "tune" to optimize the variables. This adds the "personal" touch in of the "tuners" to get your car just right. This usually takes time and multiple visits to get it just right.
Mine is still not "just right". But I expose my car to hard track use monthly, which is different than joe blow driving to work and thinking he is doing some spirited driving with the highest rpm of say 3500!
My car is constantly driven to red line all day.
Our cars are very similar!
