Angry Techart (Eibach) Springs

I have had these on for about a year or so , had them fitted by my official Porsche ( fitting cost more than the springs ). Ride + handling is great but I still have almost two fingers of wheel arch gap with 19" cargraphics (this is a European Spec car !) what went wrong here, did my dealer add some kind of spacer to keep the ride height high, need it lower for asthetics alone, but don't really want to pay another $1,000 for labour

I have H&R and its just a finger gap. The ride is great, but Im eventually going to get the full coilover set-up from KW. I dont think Techarts go too low from what I have been hearing, but I could be wrong. Cost me about 600 with labour, could have cheaper but I was lazy.

I had the techarts and 2 finger gap is right. Thats 30mm lower than stock. I recently switched them out for coilovers (PSS9). If you think the handling is great with the springs, get some coilovers. The difference is night and day.

Richard,
expecting springs to slam the car is not the right way of doing it. ur shocks will just give up sooner. if u want to reach the desired height going with the coilovers is the right way. in the long run it'll save u more money as well.

wbvega is infamous around these parts
I am happy with the TA Vario Coilovers on my car. Very happy. Ride ht is low...but not so low that the alignment/camber is all whacked out. I see a lot of guys on the forum that talk about springs as a $$ saver...almost all of them swap them out in favor of coilovers. Paying labor twice isnt saving any moolah.

Should make it a sticky. By coilovers not springs. Your wallet and teeth will thank you for it.

:-)
