Hi Guys,

I've lurked here for several months, but was always shy of posting since I am not an owner (my daily driver is an '85 6-series; fantastic in its own right, but hardly a 911). My dad has owned, raced, or sold 911s since before I was born, so I've grown up around them, and try to keep up to speed. I should add that I have a supernatural ability to sense a 911 engine note, over any other noise - it might come from constantly being chauffered around as a toddler in the back seat of a 911, my ears mere inches from the engine

I figured I should do what I could to rouse some interest in my post, so I set up a HobbyStage account with pictures of my dad's 911. I've only had the chance to drive it once, but it is definitely a special car. The producers of the movie Spy Game (where Robert Redford drives a 912) asked him to use it in the movie, but he declined. The story behind why is something I'll share another time

Nice 67 your dad has. He should have let R. Redford use the car in the movie. Welcome!

Great job on the site. I can remember my first experience with the Posche was with my Dad's 928. I know it's the root on my passion for the brand. Everytime I get into mine, the smell of the leather still reminds me of him and his love for the car. Welcome!
