Actually 455hp/548tq with a 20% loss is 568HP/685TQ crank. 455/.8 and 548/.8 Kevin

We should have this issue fixed and the maps rescaled shortly. Its part of RD on making power like this. Its a challenge but I am up to the task. To get us this far I have placed a Diode on the MAP sensor to trick the ecu into thinking its only seeing 1.0 bar instead of the 1.2-1.3 the car is producing. Its an old trick I used for years. Obviously I cant suggest out customers do this as it removes safety features and it makes the in car Boost gauge read 1.0 max. However, It was a part of RD to disable these systems in a closed environment. The true fix is to hit the keyboard and program this out which will be completed soon.

If anyone has a question I am here to help.

Clark, I thought the k-16 lose efficiency at anything over 1.0 bar. Do the external wastegates make the turbos more efficient? Also, could you predict the hp and TQ with k-24's? Have you guys finished to k24 car yet? Cool stuff!

Depends on what you are looking for. Do you want crank HP- loss factor or AWHP + loss factor. Two very different numbers. Stephen at IA chimed in on this before AWHP/(1-loss factor)=FWHP Kevin

If it weighs as much as my tank(3760), I mean TT I would guess a 124-125 trap. ET..who knows, much too driver dependent. 60-130 would be high 8sec maybe low 9sec with 2 shifts, much less with one. Kevin

If I am driving it it may trap at 70mph

The wastegate has 2 springs inside.

SMR, I guess you dont understand the concept. By removing the factory internal wastegates, you are increasing exhaust flow. Putting in a new spring in the stock or aftermarket internal wastegates will not produce the same results.

unfortunately they will not. They are internal wastegates that simply take give them a 1.0 bar of boost. Still using the same path of exhaust flow which is restrictive. These are great to replace your factory ones to get more boost, but are a different product then what we have.

These are the Ultimate wastegates your referring too. Looks awesome and does the job for what they are accomplishing, but again does a different trick then the external. These are super clean though!

Then you need to lear how this thing work..

When the WG are closed all exhoust gased are hitting the turbine wheel, so there are never going to give you anymore HP with a differnt WG, but the stock wg ar to weak so the blow up from the backpresure, and then you will have some exhousts that escapte that way, and you lose some performance..

You are not removing it, you are just closing it with a rod, same as very stiff spring and realising at diffrent posistion
