It didn't seem like you lost by much... bikes are known to pull out at first, then a car can real him in.... it looks like he pulled before you got infront of the camera... then he gained no distance while going past the camera.. so I could see how its possible to real him in........ Cool video.. and best looking TT on the planet in my opinion!!

Clearly the bike either ran out of gears or let off at the end. Also, I don't see how your speed differential can be 20 mph greater considering the bike led most of the way. 200 mph over that short distance?

By the way, sweet *** car.

I pulled with a nice (mildly tuned) Evo and thats exactly what happened, he pulled 2 or 3 cars due to its nature but as soon as I hitted 120mph (when most of these run out of puff) and I started pullling like crazy.

A 1000 cc sport bike does not run out of steam (puff) at 120 mph. I have an Aprilia RSV 1000 cc Factory and a mildly tuned Porsche will not even come close to running with it.

I agree. I have a modded Kawi ZX9R making 164 whp, runs 9.80s @155+ and havent found a car that will run with me YET. It pulls HARD to 190 and peaks just over 200. When it was lightly modded it still ran low 10's @145 and I still ran away from cars.

Given the light weight and trap speed of DMK's car I do believe that he can walk a 1000cc bike at freeway speeds...That video was not taken at a good angle and given the distance of travel it told a perspective view point...

Here is an example of what happened to a modded ZX12R (he claimed 185whp) at around a 60mph freeway roll on racing against my turbo...the last run I turned the boost up and the video shows the result....

http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...1210fe2ff3.htm

I have run several GSXR's and R1's on the freeway with about the same result...My money is on Don's turbo against a 1000cc bike on the freeway...

But he claims to have run him in "stock" form. In full GT700 mode I could see it, bu tI cant see it being detuned
