Chicago Auto Show Mustang
That new Mustang is amazing. For 30k, it's going to sell like mad.
Ford is hitting some home runs lately:
F150 redesign is amazing. It will continue to be the number one selling vehicle of all vehicles (and has been for 20+ years now)
The Mustang has always sold well, but wow... this redesign will just nail the market. Chevy should be glad they're not making F-body's anymore. Ford already had them 3 to 1 in sales, it would be more like 5 to 1 after this is released.
GT - duh
Cobra (rejuvinated Shelby) - if this thing comes out with performance like they're predicting, they'll have 2 cars that are Ferrari beaters. (est. numbes are 11.1 in the qtr, 3.2 to 60. And supposedly handling to match based on GT technology.
Even the new sedan to replace the Taurus looks nice for its market segment. It may give the Camry a threat again which Ford hasn't done since the Taurus was #1 in '94.
(Notice you don't even have to mention Explorer and the SUV's) Ford owns the domestic competitors.
Why does GM F'in Suck SOOOO Bad. Their displays yesterday were a joke. The GTO is a rental-car looking POS. It's performance numbers are OK, but who cares? The rest of the lines are so bland and the interiors are HORRIBLE. Chevy was boasting all these new cars, but man, they still look like crap in there. And the Pontiac's all have the same interior as well.
Caddy's... well, you gotta love 'em or hate 'em. That styling is ugly IMO, but some like it. I still can't look at 'em without thinking, "You need to be at least 60."
