Hello everyone. I am in search of a GT2 and have found a mint 02 that is a Euro/World model. Can anyone tell me if there are any drawbacks to the Euro models?

It should only be of relevance as long as the same US car is still under warranty. Recalls and maintenance history are important also. So price differences between Euros and US models for a 2002 shouldn't really be there. I am assuming your are taking about a Euro with US title.

 

Yes, it is a Euro model with a US title.

Tomorrow I will be verifying insurability to make sure there are no problems in that respect.

 

other than warranty issues shouldnt be a problem and you should savfe some $$

Euro model is a liitle more difficult on resell value but that may help you as buyer.

BTW, 575cid / Twin 88mm Turbos??? Wow.. I like Heffner's works.

Yes, Heffner is a great tuner. Heffner and I are actually very good friends from a few years back. We grew up in the same area and used to meet up on the streets.

My GTS was the very first TT which we built together. Since then the passion for more hp has led to the latest build. Hopefully we will be firing the car up in about 2 weeks with the latest config listed in the sig. We also installed a Powerglide trans to help us obtain the mid 7 second goal.
