Some new KPVTT Pics for your viewing pleasure
Workflow ... big topic grasshopper.
OK, pull it into PS CS in raw mode, 16 bit, Adobe RGB (same space on camera) color space to a calibrated monitor. Do any exposure corrections, chromatic aberration, ... there. Then bring into PS. First crop. Then, go after levels and color correction [this separates the men from the boys] (I will send a link to a cool way to do levels). Next, size (for printing leave at max). Then, unsharp mask at actual size, and done.
This is the abbreviated version but will get good results quickly.

wow! I have cable ... and the speed the pics loaded reminded me of my 56k era ... YAY!!!! This is awesome. I have a crappy card, crappy monitor (1024x768max ... laptop monitor) ... and yet am always after the biggest pics I can find. Had a 4000x3200 pic of the Koenigsegg C8 ... you could literally see the bugs splattered on the front lip and the pattern of the Carbon Fiber ... terrific!
ColorChange, I'm interested in that link about PS too ... Greyghost got me into it, and I'm starting to really like it ... favourite tool, magic wand and layer via cut! yay! lol
did I say these were awesome pictures?

Dave,
I used a Canon 1Ds (11 megapixels) with a 24-70mm L Lens for those shots. I am just learning to use it after using p&s digitals for years. I used to use a manual 35mm film camera years ago but I have to relearn some aspects again. I feel like such a beginner but that is also part of the fun.

I should have known, A killer Car deserves a killer camera.
I've been looking at the Digital Rebel or the new Nikon D70. The more I look at your Hood, the more I like it. What did it cost $$$ ??
