The pics were taken at a race track in S. Korea back in '05. It was a very low mileage car (23k km) imported from Japan.

Gone but not forgotten. Just hope the 997 lives up to its ancestor...

Cheers! Those wheels were actually standard spec over here from 2004. Miss the car badly, roll on the new gen GT2. Driving my girlfriends 997 cab at the moment, very nice but not quite the same

GT2 looks great, would have been number one choice for me, but the turbo bust my budget, the GT2 would have ripped it to shreds!

yes theyre Hartge 17". I've since gone back to 15's for a while, as these I found felt too heavy and cumbersome (probably more the 8.5J than the 17"). I want to get a set of 7.5J x 17 Compomotives TH2's as this car is predominantly for the track now...

Cheers!!

Had to go when a truck decided not to stop at a junction, rearranged the rear quarter and trashed the drivetrain. Sad day. Not quite the type of picture we want in a picture thread, but this is the side of the car you cant see....

Tony,
Your car is absolutely STUNNING!!! I was just wondering, how much did it cost to get the Centers of the SSR GT-3's painted. I thought they couldn't be painted. I remember someone telling me that, but obviously that is not the case. I'd love to know b/c I'm thinking of getting mine painted lapis blue to match. Thanks.

PS - Can they paint the gold center caps I have lapis blue AROUND the gold emblem you think???

So How About A Pricture Thread???????

This thread is the best one, in my opinion. Continue with the photos.
Here is my '02 GT2, this past weekend in the local P-dealer annual Maplewood Auto Fair. After tracking the car the weekend before, I received the "People Choice" for all Porsches and "Best of Show"
