Brenda Priddy shot this recently, as a mostly undisguised 997. I photoshopped the tape around the headlights that they put on to make it look like a 996, but you could clearly see the delineation, so it was easy to edit to the ovals that it will have. A little stamp cloning and magic wand, and here we have it...(it's like the shot that we've seen comparing it to the Beetle, only larger)






I like how 'widebody' it looks from the back - something I love in the Boxster and miss in some of the 996's. Not a major change, to be sure, but a nice improvement overall. Can't wait to see officials pics, and it seems like they will come soon.

Uninspired design update. Porsche playing it too safe?

I think the actual car will look much different.

As always I think it will look better in person, but we will see at the Paris autoshow.
