Sorry for the bad joke Ricky. I am just messing with you...But when you posted a price you paid for the car "sight unseem'..I felt like pulling your leg.

Congratulations on the car. Did you have it inspected by someone else?

If it is still under Porsche warranty right now, i believe you can extend it until it runs out, so find out about it and DO IT!

Did you run a Carfax and so on?

BTW Mark LOL, you are cruel!

That is cruel Ray, even to a newbie. It is amazing how they can restore a car that has been through floods and make it look new again...ooops! I didn't say that..

beautiful car, definitely get extended warranty from porsche if possible. I remember someone posted a while back after buying a used car from a very reputable seller, after drive home needed a new engine, warranty was not backed up for some reason and it ended up being replaced by the ebay car warranty of all things.
Every picture shows all the same 996tt rims, except the last photo with the profile from the passenger side shows the 996 narrow or 993tt rims. I would assume that all the other photos are correct though especially since the guy already checked

Why dont you ask the person you bought it from since they might have a relationship with a nearby porsche dealer. Otherwise you are eventually gonna have to find a porsche dealer to take your car in for service so you can ask them...

First of all that is a fantastic deal! Congrats.

Dude that scares me. 993TT wheels on one side? Maybe the car ran into a curb? I would ask some questions and get a written guarantee? Even if it did it may have been minor?

I believe 993TTT wheels are 1" narrower? So it's not just a cosmetic thing.

Do you have an inspection period?

I got the best easycare for 6 years and 60k miles. $100 deductible. It's good till 2011... When you want to sell, your car will be at the head of the list with a warranty.
