Love the 996TT. Goes in my books as one of the best looking I've seen to date. Not over done. Just perfect.

 

Thanks, but are you talking about my car or my avatar? I've seen cars I'd trade mine for but none better than the avatar so we'll go with that. I wish someone close by had a 996 or 997 Cobalt Blue and then we could get some outrageous USA type photos. Martin, didn't you say you know or see some guy on Northern Blvd. in a Cobalt? Maybe we'll have to organize a little meet and see your GT-2 now that it's here. You around this weekend? Weather is supposed to be good again.

 

I'm with ya on that one. Can't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps its the shape of the headlights that I like better on the 996tt?

Nice guys, I see both cars all the time, I'm in Glen Head. That white 997 is spectacular!

 

those are two very sick cars, they both represent two of the finest examples in the porsche histroy. Guards red has always been a great color but the white S car with the black wheels could be my new favorite.. great pics and have a great 2007..

 

I am def. up for this weekend, and i saw the Cobalt Blue GT3 fly past me, i dont know who he is, never met him! But i could have sworn Kevin (Monsoonmadness) is friends with him, i would LOVE to see that thing in person

BTW, i just checked out a newly arrived 997 GT3 at Porsche of Huntington, Midnight blue def. doesnt do the car justice, but god is it sick!!

 

Darren did me the favor of new avatar...close enough for me but being the perfectionist he is i am sure he will improve on it!

 

Actually I like the Carrera oval tips over the fake S dual tips. I've been thinking of changing my duals to some type of an oval.

What do you all think? Any idea's?

I was reading the new GT Purely Porsche article about the writer getting to drive the RS Spyder and the 997 GT3 RS. That GT3 is looking pretty cool.

 

What I meant was, especially after seeing the car in person, that the avatar car doesn't look that good. The "cartoonish" image looses so much to an actual photo. If DJ could take this photo I did with my rudimentary skills:

It would be 1000x better than what's there. Either that or, get one of Lisa's stripper friends to give you a nice cleavage shot and then maybe your avatar could be half as good as mine.
