2003 TT delivered/Soft brake pedal?

got the car today and drives straight, thank god. the car really is immaculate. Pulls really hard, i had forgotten how much fun turbos are!

do the brakes on the 996TT feel soft? lets say compared to both the e36 and e46 M3s and a F355? The car is a total blast to drive but the brakes feel rather soft for a car like this.

Oh, and the Porsche short shifter is going in on Thursday! The shifts feel like a truck!

Shouldn't. Has the fluid ever been replaced?

Congrats on buying a car sight unseen! I have to agree on the brakes being soft. They feel even softer/unstable at higher hp. The short shifter is one of the must-have mods. Enjoy!

Try replacing the brake lines

I noticed this as well when I first got the car. I replaced the stock brake lines with stainless steel ones and it really firmed up the brake pedal feel. I think I got mine from https://www.stoptech.com/user/searchproducts.asp
