Have to trailer the Dodge as it only runs on C16 and gets probably less than a mile a gallon. Not sure about the GT2 yet, i'll probably drive it.

Martin, it will most likely cost you 2400 one way for a closed trailor and that means 10 days transport each way also.
Wait that's confusing me, 2400 one way, but then 10 days transport each way?! I was expecting to pay 3 grand back and forth, no?

If your talking a closed big rig transport its pretty hefty. They take awhile, took my car about 10 days to get to FL. I got confused with the 2400, i would probably say about 3600 round trip. And yes it will probably take 10 days each way, they are slow and need to make other drops along the way most of the time.

Martin,
If there is no track event (or any car event planned) it would not make sense for you to send your car back and forth from the East coast IMO. I am 4 hours away driving so its not that big of a deal to me. I am actually considering flying as well.

Very very true, i guess i'll just stay tuned. Its alot of money for a day on the track, although it would probably be a sick experience, i dont know! Either way im coming down

I agree. There doesn't seem to be any reason to go through the trouble of bringing the cars out if there's no planned events. Maybe I'll be flying too.

I will try to make it (with or with or my car). I hate to polute my car with anything but C16 fuel and I probably cannot get any in the desert between LA and Vegas. I am not inclined to incur the cost of shipping my car back and forth. Therefore, I may attend sans car.

Craig,
What about renting a Uhaul pickup and trailer and trailering it back & forth?

What a damn genius you are !! BUT, my luck the car will blow up or break down, or the trailor will fall off going around a turn
