I did the rwd conversion a couple of months ago and finally weighed the removed parts yesterday. The total was 67 lbs. The drive shaft was about 7 lbs, the front dif was about 46lbs, the two front stub axles were about 14 lbs if I remember correctly. Those were the only parts I got back from my shop so unless I was missing something it was much less than I expected. I had heard 150lbs from some others. I lost some more weight though with the rs LWFW, amazing how heavy the dual mass one felt! I am going to get my car corner balanced in the near future so I will get to see the total weight.

 

Lighter == faster !

Equal to 10.5 gallons of gas (6.35 lb per) in the tank! (same area too) - interesting.

LWFW, sachs racing pressure plate= -20 lbs

want to do gt3 seats soon, ive heard 60lbs savings when removing power seats.
