It slips if I push it, should I even bother with my run?

Rave,
Based upon your other post regarding your 0-60 time, it sounds like you have been taxing it recently with high-stress standing starts. Those types of starts probably caused the most wear. The dyno test is run in 4th gear. If you question your results, you can certainly compare them to mine and TonyNJ's.

Me and my stupid 0-60 runs, I managed a good time but at what expense? Heavy duty clutch is a must!! See you all Thursday.

I hate March!!!! Arghhhh!

The brilliant local storm forcasters up here are calling for a big snow storm Tuesday nite and into Weds. Temperatures are going to reach a high of 32 degrees all week(very little snow melt) and they call for a chance of additional snow Thurs PM. If this turns out to be the case, I will be cancelling my appointment at AWE on thurs. After spending time removing salt from all my suspension components yesterday when I re-installed my wheels, I do not feel like going through that exercise again, not to mention hazardous/icy road conditions for the begining of my trip down and possible slick conditions on the way back from AWE. Man this sux!!!

I will make my official cancellation on weds if all this crap pans out.

Looks like I will have to wait till the Hooters meet on 4/4 before I get a chance to meet many of you guys and gal...

Well the weather is looking more promising...higher temps and snow that will end by weds morning. We shall see how everything pans out.

Vin, thanks for the offer for a place to stay, but if the weather is going to be a problem for the way home...It doesn't look that way right now, I would be unable to stay over. I have a presentation I have to make early Friday morning so it is not an option to come in late to work....I will call you weds nite to see if it's practical to meet up on the way to Flemington Porche. I would like to get there by 9:00 or so. I plan to be on the road from my house at 6:00 A.M. That should put me at the 287 exit off of I-87 at aroung 8:00, perhaps a bit sooner...Don't forget to bring your FRS walkie talkie....

Sorry to hear about your clutch Rave...Man were you doing NHRA Funny car burnouts with that new stage 4 or what? I have never heard of a clutch smoking that fast...

You must have some serious power there my friend. Is Dr. Bill giving you a warranty on that???

Weather update. 10" by my house, 10-18 inches south of me in the Catskills by Weds mid morning where I have to drive through. If this pans out, does not look good for me. We shall see...

Chris,

Drive the Cayenne over to my place and you can drive my 996TT down while I take Bobby's GT-3...I am RIGHT OFF 87 very close and you can spend the night Wednesday if you like! Or just dyno the Cayenne!
