Question oil leak and new O rings

A little help please. sent my 03 x-50 car into dealer due to small oil leak. Was originally told that appeared to be a fly wheel seal and needed to pull engine to check, 2-3 days. PCNA rep comes in, says leak is on top of engine, oil cooler seal, all the sudden my whole top end of engine is dismantled and O rings and all seals and gaskets replaced! Should I be concerned? Car ran great before and after, no engine noise or excessive oil usage, does anyone know if O rings have a consistent problem? Whats up? Thanks. Fish

Nope, this is very common. They should have looked their first IMHO. The breather cap is the issue. They need to backdate the gasket to the earlier 993 and older. They have a real tendency to be a pain in the rear.
