Byron yes you can, i have steel rotors on my GT2 right now with the big yellow's, ceramics are sitting in the boxes, not worth the headache or costs to replace!

cool Martin thanks. I learn a new thing everyday.

Much Mahalo

Stock steels work just as good as the Brembos or Alcons, the difference is the Brembos and Alcons last 2/3 times longer, but if you can get your rotors at the price that I got mine, your all good!

Then you need to do your homework better, stock steel crack all the time...as soon the cracks are longer then 7mm they should bereplaced or if the cracks joins holes, if you track your car they going to be changed alot and often, so go for a real set right away if you track your car but if you only drive on the street you may be fine for a longer time

I was waiting on this as your trying desperate to sell these Alcons you paid too much for.

Did you read exactly what I said? I done my homework I can assure you all perform at the same rate, the difference is the Brembos and Alcons last 2/3 times as long, yes they do start to crack and that is the sign that they are on their way out!. I have spoke with 3 guys that track GT3's also Steve at Parr and Steve at JZ Mach.

SMR Jan 25, 2007 07:32 PM

I have not even have them for sale, i paid what they costed at JZ...but hey you have a Tippy car so they may work perfect for your driving style..But do a search over on rennlist and you will se what they say...and i have tried stock steel on diffrent porsche i have own and i have friends that also have them,,, and they crack as they have done since porsche has uses drilled dics

Ps: The day they are for sale they are going in the classified, until then i cant take reposbilty for people like you sending PM and asking to buy

Ps 2: And please do not try to tell me what work on the track and not, i have tracked alot more then you i can promise, so what you say work and not are not worth so much in my book
